Taurus Modelo 60 (1968)

This rare handmade Taurus Model 60 made in Barcelona in 1968 was brought to me, by a customer, to be repaired. The soundboard was in very bad shape, the previous owner had try to sand it and started french polishing it. Unfortunately some part were extremely over sanded, specially around the rosette and the bridge.

The guitar is made with solid woods: cedar on top and the back and ribs looks like Indian Rosewood. The fingerboard is Ebony and the bridge is Rosewood with a beautiful inlay in mother pearl.
